Thank you very much to all who attended and helped to make the Spring Fling 2009 a wonderful event. Those who attended enjoyed wonderful food and drink, listened and danced to beautiful music and made their fortunes at the gaming tables. They also were updated on the work of the Health Initiative, our 4th Tuesday chapters and the Lesbian Health Fund. Through the Lesbian Health Fund, we're able to provide access to health screenings to a growing number of under and un-insured women in our community. In these challenging economic times, we're all learning that we make it a little easier by pulling together. The Health Fund is one way that we can do that. While Sunday's event was a wonderful time for all those attended, unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate, and several folks were kept away because of the bad weather. If you're one of those folks that didn't make it, and you were intending to buy a ticket to Spring Fling, we would like to encourage you to please visit our website and make a donation instead. Your support will help us to continue being able to provide critical support and services to our community - we really need you.
