Out and About with Fourth Tuesday

Out and About with Fourth Tuesday

The Health Initiative’s Fourth Tuesday is entering its third decade as one on the Nation’s Oldest Social Networking Organizations for the LGBTQ community. For 30 years, Fourth Tuesday has sustained its core beliefs that our community needs and flourishes best by being connected to each other. Today, this connection can be created with live events and online virtual communities. Fourth Tuesday has both.

In 2008, Fourth Tuesday extended its support circles beyond Atlanta City limits. Chapters are active in multiple directions across the greater Atlanta metro area. Each Chapter has an online yahoo group to communicate services, social events and personal support needs, and Chapter Leaders develop events that best suit their community from pot luck dinners to weekend lake trips.  Fourth Tuesday membership now totals more than 2100 women in 7 chapters.  For more information about Fourth Tuesday, or to join a chapter near you, please visit: Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative.  You can also stay up to date by visiting our FaceBook page, Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative.
