Jo Giraudo, PhD, ACC has been in the travel and recreation fields since 1983. As Owner/Manager of Insider Travelers, Jo combines interest, expertise, and hobbies for a perfect career. With a PhD in Holistic Health, Jo brings a different perspective to her client's trips. She encourages travelers to not just vacate but to participate in their trips. In 1980 Jo's interest in health led her to become a certified massage therapist and exercise consultant. As Manager of the Candler Park Golf Course from 1983-2000 Jo encouraged golfers to incorporate movement exercises into their golf warm up routines. Nutrition and supplement advice proved valuable for golfers in competition. Questions from clients led Jo to Clayton College of Natural Health for her Masters and PhD. Jo's doctorial thesis was a groundbreaking holistic health program for recovering alcoholics. As an avocation, Jo advises friends and family in holistic health practices.
In 2006 Jo moved to The Artisan in downtown Decatur, after 20 years living under an old oak tree in Candler Park. She is an active member the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Women's Outdoor Network, the Decatur Business Association and past Co Chair of Fourth Tuesday Atlanta.
