Currently managing a 19,000+ sq. ft. facility serving as the pipeline for tangible donations to flow from the business community to non-profit organizations, Ann is responsible for nearly $7 million in Fair Market Value moving annually through the process. Staffing, safety, marketing, and space management all contribute to a successful organization that helps non-profits stretch the value of their donated dollars, enabling increased funding for services by decreasing expenditures for necessities. This position is both an extension of and a departure from previous experiences in the non-profit sector, where Ann's background with HIV/AIDS education, refugee services, health and safety training, and government liaison work contribute to a unique perspective on the Atlanta area's community needs. Focus on education - with computers, in international issues, public health and policy, and social service delivery - has been a theme throughout Ann's work, both professionally and personally. Ann was graduated with degrees in Music History and in Business Data Processing, neither of which has anything to do with her current position. Her other community activities focus on the refugee community, and with educational efforts in public health.
