The Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of lesbians and other members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community through education, advocacy, support and access to care.

Cherie Caldwell Chair Cherie Caldwell provides Career Coaching Services for students and young professionals. Caldwell is the former Managing Director, Human Resources at Delta Air Lines, Inc. and had global responsibility for Talent Acquisition, Retention and Diversity for the fastest growing international passenger airline carrier.
A.D. McNaghten Co Chair A.D. McNaghten, PhD, MHSA, is an epidemiologist in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Global HIV/AIDS Program. She is the Principal Investigator for Project STATUS, a randomized trial of HIV testing interventions to determine how to increase HIV testing and link HIV-infected persons to care and treatment in four African countries.
Jo Giraudo Vice Chair Jo Giraudo, PhD, ACC has been in the travel and recreation fields since 1983. As Owner/Manager of Insider Travelers, Jo combines interest, expertise, and hobbies for a perfect career. With a PhD in Holistic Health, Jo brings a different perspective to her client's trips. She encourages travelers to not just vacate but to participate in their trips.
Patt Cianciullo Treasurer Patt Cianciullo is a Finance professional with over 25 years of experience in the both the non-profit and for-profit environments. She possesses a solid Accounting and Finance background combined with operations, HR, management, and information technology experience.
Ann M. Daane Secretary Ann Daane, Facility Manager for United Way Gifts In Kind Atlanta, has been active in Atlanta's non-profit community for nearly 25 years. Working as both a volunteer and as paid staff, in education, program and service delivery, facilities management, and staff/donor/member development, Ann has found the non-profit arena a fascinating and rewarding environment.
Amanda Burt Amanda is a recent Clinical Psychology Masters graduate from Argosy University and is currently employed by Dekalb Medical. Amanda has a developing interest in how ALHI provides knowledge about the LGBTQ community to mental and medical providers through our Cultural Competency program. She is also striving to introduce ALHI to the younger individuals in our community who are unaware of our services. Amanda has served on the ALHI board since May 2009.
Nikki Economou Nikki Economou works at Centers for Disease Control and serves as Deputy Director at-large internationally for the Global AIDS Program for developing countries. Nikki has worked in public health for over 30 years. Nikki is also a veteran of the US Navy Reserves and US Coast Guard Reserves.
Jan Suchomski Jan Suchomski, Founder of BizSmart LLC, is a business consultant, trainer and coach. She has a diverse business background with over 20 years of experience in areas including marketing and research, strategic planning, financial analysis, business planning, process development, project management, and business development.
Tonie Tobias Tonie is a Sr. Systems Engineer and Vice President of the Gay/Lesbian Employee Network at Delta Air Lines, and has served on the ALHI board since September of 2009. Tonie can usually be found cheering on the Atlanta Dream at Phillips Arena.
